2/24 ロイヤルカリビアンクルーズ ２日目/ Royal Caribbean Cruise Day 2(FlowRider, Izumi, North Star, Chops Grille))

クルーズ2日目

心配していた船酔いですが
結果からいうと全く大丈夫でした。

初日のランチで
ジェイミーズイタリアンで
座ってメニュー選びをしだした時に
船の動きに気づいたので
一瞬、不安になりましたが 
気持ち悪くなるような事はなく、セーフ。😅

船内散策中は
船のゆったりとした揺れに合わせて
気づくと 右に、左に、と
まっすぐ歩いていない状態になりますが
みんなそうでした。

だから客室のある狭い通路ですれ違う時には
お互いに譲ろうと どちらかに寄ろうとするんだけど
みんな おんなじ側に行ってしまうので
毎回 笑っちゃう状況。😆

あとは、夜 寝ようとした時に
揺れに敏感になってしまうのと
もともと「真空状態か」っていうほど
静かじゃないと寝れないグラミーなので
船の動きに合わせて室内のどこかがきしむ音で
全く寝れなかったです。

ただ、これも初日の夜だけで
２泊目、３日目は飛行機用に持参してきている
耳栓をつけて寝たら 問題なく寝つくことができました。

I was worried about seasickness,
but I was completely fine.

When I sat down
and start choosing from the menu at the restaurant,
I noticed the movement of the ship
and that got me worried for a moment.
But it didn't make me sick or anything.

Funny moment to me was,
when the passengers pass each other
in a narrow aisle where the state rooms are,
everybody goes to the same side
despite of the effort not to run into,
due to the sway of the ship.
It made me laugh every time. 😆

Lying down on the bed to sleep at night,
that's when I felt the sway the most.
Also, something in the room creaks
with the movement of the ship
I'm a silent sleeper. I couldn't sleep at all.
But that was just on the first night.
Rest of the nights, I slept with earplugs on.
I was able to fall asleep without any problems.

さて、朝食は、本来はスイートラウンジか
Two70°での朝食を予定していたのですが
前日のサプライズでひと口もいただく余裕がなかった
ケーキなどをデッキでいただくことに♪
これが、感動の朝食😍
We originally planed to have a breakfast
at either Suite Lounge or Two70° Cafe,
but we decided to have the anniversary cake
from yesterday.
The breakfast on the balcony is unforgettable💕
What a view, what a moment! 😍

旦那の予想では
翌朝にはタウンズビル辺りまで行くのかなぁ
っと言っていた航路ですが
意外と近場を漂ってるみたい。笑
Despite of my husband's guess,
our ship didn't go that far from Brisbane.

それぞれの部屋では船内チャンネルで
船の現在地、スピード、風の向きなどを見ることができます。
Every room has this information available on TV.
The ship location, speed of the ship,
course direction, wind direction, etc.

今日のメインイベントはフローライダー♪
グラミーが一番楽しみにしていたアクティビティ♪
I'm going to try FlowRider today!! ヽ(*´∀`)ノ

１５階までエレベーターで行きます。
旅行前に、何が何階にあるかはメモ済みだったのですが
船の前方(Forward)、真ん中(Mid)、後方(Aft)の
どこにあるかをメモしてなかったので
毎回確認するハメに。笑
途中からはこの確認作業に慣れてきたので
エレベーターに乗る前から
行き先が Forward か Aft かを確認して
エレベーターを降りてからどっちに行くかを
いちいちこのボードで見なくても済むまでに。
I took a note of what's on which deck,
but I never took a note of "Aft" or "Forward".
So every time we got off the elevator, 
we had to check this directory board to see
whether we go left or right. 😆
I could spot the cruise experts coz'
they never hesitated when they got off the elevator.
After while, we learned to know the destination was
"Aft" or "Forward" ahead of time.

フローライダーもそうですが
各アクティビティがオープンする時間は決まっています。
いつでも開いてるわけではありません。
予約できるアクティビティもあれば
フローライダーのように予約できないアクティビティも。
ただ、ここでスタークラスの本領発揮！
スタークラス専用のフローライダータイムがある！🤩
Activities that can't be booked in advance,
like Flow Rider,
gives Star Class guests a real benefit.
Yes, Star Class people have their own FlowRider time!

フローライダーでは
ボディーボードもサーフィンもできます。
サーフィンはボディボードをまず経験した人のみ可能。
グラミーは
18~21歳ぐらいの時にボディーボードをやってたんけど
もう26年ぐらいやってないことになるので
ワクワクするけど、怖くもある。😆

夢中でやってて 周りを見る余裕がなかったから
写真を見て意外と観客がいたことに気づく。笑
I didn't realized I had few audiences
on the side as well until I saw the picture.
I was that concentrated, eyes on the instructor. 🤣

写真だけ見ると まるで
「フローライダーやり慣れてます！」みたいに見えるけど
何度もワイプアウトしてて
後で気づけば膝に青あざが多数。(≧∇≦)
しかもワイプアウトのうちの１回に
結構な交通事故並みの衝撃
(追突事故の犠牲３回経験済みなのでわかる)
を首と背中にも受けたので、これ意外と
過去に大怪我してる人いるんじゃないかと思うグラミー。
アクティビティの前に
免責同意書にサインさせられるのも納得。😳
I may look like I know what I'm doing
in those pictures above.
But one of the wipeouts was so damaging,
I hurt my neck as bad as serious car accident.
No wonder they make you sign the waiver
before you attend. LOL

食後にデザートを勧められた時
お腹いっぱいと告げたのですが

それでも持ってきてくれたのでした💕
We were too full at the end and
couldn't have a dessert
but the staff congratulated us with this plate anyway.

ランチのあとは、旦那のパブはしごに付き合い
Pub and bar hopping after lunch.

旦那は
グラミーのソフトクリームハンティングに付き合い
Went to get soft serve ice cream.

部屋に戻ったらフルーツが用意されてました！
あとで専属ルームアテンダントに聞いたら
スタークラスには
毎日フルーツやチーズの盛り合わせが届けられるとの事。😳
When we came back to the room,
not only the place was spotless but also
there were plates of fruits and cheese
ready on the dining table!!
We asked our room attendant about it, they said
all the star class guests would get it every day. 😳

午後はノーススターを体験しにまたデッキ１５階へ。
We came to experience North Star on Deck 15.
↓↓↓


１５分かけてこの球体が上昇し
船のわき、海上へも移動します。
壮大な海を航海するメガクルーズ客船を
普段では見られない高さと角度から楽しめます♪
When you book the "Extended Experience",
on top of the regular experience which is
this sphere goes up straight above the ship,
it also goes out to the side of the ship.
You can really see how big the ship is.

ディナーは チョップスグリル で。
クルーズ中はフォーマルナイトが設けられ
航海日数によって１〜３日など
フォーマルナイトの数も変わります。
今回のクルーズでは2日目がフォーマルナイトだったので
グラミーも珍しくドレスで♪　20代の時に着てたドレス。笑　
滅多に着ないからまだ全然新品みたいだった。😆
船内でプロカメラマンが待機してて
撮りたい人はみんなこうやって撮ってもらっていました♪
We had a dinner at Chops Grille.
It was a formal night. So we dressed up.

コロッサルシュリンプカクテルの大きい事！
勝手に出てくる４種のパン。
プレッツェル系のパンって興味がないんですけど
ここのはとっても美味しかった💕
Look at the size of that Colossal Shrimp Cocktail !! 😍
I'm not a fan of Pretzel Bread but theirs was tasty.

２人ともフィレステーキとロブスターをチョイス♪
ステーキソースが３種類から選べたので
ベルネーゼソースとボルダレーゼソースをそれぞれ。
サイドディッシュには
マッシュルーム、ほうれん草、トリュフポテトを
選びましたが
例によって、このレストランもスペシャルティレストランなので
みなさん 一定額を支払って食べ放題♪
ロブスターなど追加料金がかかるメニューもありますが
価値ありのおいしさですよ♪
We both chose Filet & Lobster combination,
but with the different steak sauces.
Sharable sides were
Sautéed Mushrooms, Cream Spinach and Truffle Fries.
Again, this is a specialty restaurant.
You pay a certain price, and it's all you can eat,
other than the ones you see the price.
Trust me, the lobster is worth paying extra.

このあとスパの予定が差し迫っていたので
デザートを頂かずに帰りますと告げたところ
またもや
「せっかくなので１分お時間をください！」
っとスタッフに言われ
デザートなしのプレートと共に
ハッピーアニバーサリーソングを歌うスタッフに
お祝いされるグラミー家。笑
We were in a hurry
to make it to the Spa appointment after dinner.
So we regretfully told them
we must skip our desserts.
Our staff said "Please give us just 1 minute !"
They still celebrated our anniversary
with their singing and with nice dessertless plate.

今回のクルーズ中に
星空の撮影をしたかったグラミー。

フォーマルドレスからスパ用のカジュアル着に着替えに
部屋に戻ってきた時は
まだちょっと空が明るく、満点の星空という感じでもない。
One of many things I wanted to do during the cruise
was Star gazing.
It was still bright when I came back from the dinner.

でもあっという間に見えてきた！🤩
グアムでも星空撮影スポットはたくさんあるんだろうけど
自宅のバルコニーからは
レオパレスリゾートのホテルの照明が明るすぎて
こんなきれいな星空は見えません。
ゆっくり揺れてるんだけど
その割にはきれいに撮れてますよね？
But it got darkened quickly.
I could spot Orion.  Time was 19:16

ゆっくり撮影してたいけど
スパの時間なのでまたでかけます。
I wanted to enjoy more star gazing but
the appointment for the Facial Spa was approaching.

グラミーは、ファーマリフト
旦那は、スーパーチャージャー for メン 。
I got "Biotec Firm-a-lift"
My husband got "Biotec Super Charger for Men"

このカメラで
シミの数と位置、シワの深さと位置など
精細に映し出し
フェイシャルを続ける人なら
効果がはっきり見ていけるようです。
今回は一度きりだから
最初にどれだけ肌にダメージを受けているかを
見せられたけど、どうしようもないです。笑

You can see the progress in the long run
by comparing the images,
if you keep getting their procedures.

旅行前、グアムではけっこう長い間(8ヶ月ぐらい)
フェイシャルをお休みしてたから
今回の施術の後の効果の実感の仕方がすごかった。
ほんとにお肌が引き締まって
頬のラインも上がった気がしました♪
For just one time procedure, I really felt the result.
My face got tighten and very clean.
Loved it💕

お部屋に戻ってきてから 再度、星空撮影に挑戦♪
After Spa treatment,
I tried to get more night sky shots.  Time 21:18
Surprisingly, a lot less stars were visible
comparing to the gorgeous star full of sky
I've seen in Kauai, Hawaii.
Maybe because we're somewhat close to the shore
during the cruise?

明日はもう実質クルーズ最終日！
船酔いしないと分かったので
あと３泊はしたいとさっそく思ったグラミーでした。
